Device-Firmata Device::Firmata - A Perl implementation of the Firmata protocol. This module allows a computer running Perl to connect to Firmata devices (Arduinos and compatible, including ESP8266), either via serial I/O (RS-232, USB, etc.) or TCP/IP (LAN, WiFi). Protocol details can be found at https://github.com/firmata/protocol. INSTALLATION To install this module, run the following commands: perl Makefile.PL make make test make install SUPPORT AND DOCUMENTATION After installing, you can find documentation for this module with the perldoc command. perldoc Device::Firmata You will find a web presentation on "Controlling an Arduino with Perl" at file://presentation/index.html.
